Haitians United FC of Tampa formerly knowned as Monaco FC defeated Palm Harbor FL based team PHC International to reach the 1/4 finals of the Florida Suncoast League Cup. PHC Int. won their division two league with record numbers in defending their goals as well as goal scored within a season. PHC Int. is composed of mostly players of European origin and features young Haitian striker Mckenzy Gourdet who scored 18 goals last season. Both of these teams will promote to division one of the Florida Suncoast League next season.

In the first half United missed several scoring chances and had a goal disallowed to the dismay of the crowd and United's coach Gino Felix. The half ended with the score 0:0. After an inspirational speech by coach Felix, United took the field a lot more focused. Half way through the 2nd half, former Racing Club Haitien player season(96-97) and team's president Lucito Cesar received a pass going deep and dribbled through three defenders before beating the keeper with a classical finish. United's second goal was as spectacular as the first one. Lucito Cesar caught PHC keeper off guard and lifted the ball into the net from midfield. Haitians United advance to the 1/4 final of the cup and will face division one team Bosna on March 12, 2006.
