Macoumba Kandji to MLS in 2009?

The Atlanta Silverbacks (USL) 23 year old Senegalese midfielder Macoumba Kandji has started to draw interest from various MLS clubs. The skillful midfielder was discovered in 2006 by the Silverbacks after arriving in the United States from Gambia, he has recently received his green card which makes him more attractive for MLS clubs. MLS should pull the trigger and sign Kandji before foreign clubs come knocking on his door. Kandji has impressed in friendlies against Mexican First Division clubs and Independiente of Argentina.
