Danny Glover set to make directorial film debut on Haitian Revolution slave leader ?Toussaint L'Ouverture?

Danny Glover, is set to make his directorial debut on ?Toussaint,? an action epic that will star Wesley Snipes, Don Cheadle and Angela Bassett and is based on the 1791-1804 successful slave uprising in Haiti. Production is set to begin latter this year in South Africa.
The script by Joslyn Barnes and Vijay Balakrishnan, centers on
Haitian revolution hero Toussaint L?Ouverture, who led one of the few successful slave uprisings in history. The slaves defeated French, Spanish and British armies and established the first independent black republic, naming Louverture president for life.
