Cool

First of all I don't know you personally TASAFRA but I think with all your academic and career achievements that you are a mean person. People like you have been governing Haiti since the beginning. What have you done for us lately??? Are you saying now that we all have to go to Yale in order to serve our country? An OLD man like you should be a good example for us young Haitians in the States and you are discouraging a fairly achieved guy because he is a Kompa SINGER; he doesn't sing in English or live in Hollywood?
Are you ashamed of our culture?
Do you hide your identity when you're among your rich white folks in Greenwich, CT?
You're even discouraging us to speak French, which I think any Haitian living anywhere in the world should be able to speak.
As a young man, I?m realizing now the problem of HAITI is neither the DUVALIERISTs nor the LAVALASIENs. The problem is people like you. Fostering such negative, "UNCLE TOM" and snobbish attitude is the virus that is destroying our country. Haiti does need compassionate intellectuals, people capable of contributing; and I?m sorry to see that an accomplished man like you doesn't fit that description. Thank God all Duvalierist don't think like you, if that was true there wouldn't be any hope of Unity in our country.
We had all suffered enough already. Many Macoutes were either killed or sent to exile in 86, their family suffered. The Macoutes had killed thousands of people during both Duvalier regimes including after 86 with Henri Namphy. FRAP did the same in the 91 Coup d'Etat. When all this is happening to us, the INTERNATIONAL community enjoys it. They love to see us DIVIDED...They love to see this Republic of former slaves and rebel mulattoes suffer. They've hated us since 1804 and they still do(with a smile in their faces).
So instead of voicing your pride for YALE, Lavalas or Duvalierist and Bashing Haitian musicians (who knows what kind of music you listen to?!), why don't you be more proud of being Haitian (if you are).
Anyway, CONGRADULATION on all your success, have a good life, keep us posted on your "DIPLOMES Decrochement Journey" and your next Big Job!!!.... (We?re all very interested you know)
