Hello SE'QUI,
I really don't think you have offended anyone. As long as a person loves Haiti, I think he/she will agree with everything you have said. I am very proud to see how a young haitian-american feels.
I think if we all put our heads together we can make a difference in Haiti. The people need to be educated in Haiti. After being under oppression for so long it doesn't matter who and with what type of views someone comes with I don't think it will work. As long as the people have the same mentality that they have Haiti will not progress. It is up to us young people to start going back to Haiti and educate the peolpe. Try to teach them that it is not because someonelse has and I don't have I have to hate the person or if I have it is ok to try to help someoneelse that doesn't have and not trying to keep them down.
I think when we as a people understand that it doesn't matter if one is poor or rich we can work together or having different views is ok, Haiti will not progress. We always try to compare the United States with Haiti. Always asking why can't we be like them?. In The US we have the democrats, Republicans and the Liberals, it doesn't matter how they disagree, but when the time comes for them to put their heads together to work for the welfare of the country, there is no Demograts, Republicans or Liberals but only Americans. It is time for us Haitian to think of ourselves as Haitians not as political party members.
Thanks,
Anacaona
