I'll have to agree with all of you. I think Haiti should have both languages. I think the children should be taught in both as well, and have them decided once they are old enough which they prefer or which fits them best (depending on if they stay in the country or not). I don't think one is better then the other. Also, let's keep in mind that every country goes through what "is the proper language" the US is dealing with Ebonics and American English (b/c it's different then British English). Let us not forget that language is a form of Art and a means of communicating with one another.
