I think u need the real man

Still think that hollywwod would destroy this type of film. It needs someone big but not mainstream. Real actors too....Denzel....I don't think audiences would appreciate the history as much as being caught up with it being him
I think Don Cheadle is fine
Hotel Rwanda.....he will be a little over played and maybe not taken seriously due to the other roles. But your choice.
I still go for the new faces. When I see the new Don Cheadles...play parts so important...i'm more convinced. Hollywood kills credibility that's all...with time and roles....especially when they are typecast.
Danny Glover
He'll be a go! He's unaffected by the red carpet and still a pure thespian. He'd lead a wonderful cast to play the parts surrounding Toussaint. He has led many showing them "you can be the first and the best".
I hope he gets the honor and gives the honor to direct and choose a better lead for this role.
Just to add....If Don Cheadles and Angela Bassett are cast in the film, you already have the notoriety and star attraction. If you put Wesley in a role next to them, whom I think have and will continue to play superior roles, it will diminish the role of the lead ...the most important!
With such a stellar cast and director, the "new guy" will attract more attention worldwide. People are curious when a fresh face appears in a film surrounded by those of such stature. Wesley as I read in someone's previous thread lol....does infomercials now. He's a has been. He's currently on your haitiwebs news for tax frauds....he's well known and respected?? By who? HMMMM! You have a chance at showing us the hero Toussaint and in doing so creating a new hero with a new rising star.
