Same here, I'll be very upset and really mad if any part of this movie does not happen in Haiti. and I think most part of this movie should be shooting in Haiti cauz it's Haitian History. anyway guys....like i said before this movie will not be 100% accurate.. enemies we do have all over the world, I already heard a lot of rumors about this movie so... I know a lot of you Haitian want this movie real bad to be on the big screen but if something about Haiti is going to show on the big screen for people all over the world to see, it should be done in our country because if not, it would be so stupid to let them do the movie somewhere else, reason why... when the world is watching we should be able to say to our friends.....(that is Jeremie, That's Port-au-prince, That's where I used to live) we should be able to tell them because it's our movie and if not they will make fun of the Haitian people..... I say most part if should be in Haiti..

If none of this movie is going to happen in Haiti, I say fuck this movie again
Excuse my language
My Haitian peeps keep this post going on and on... we need you on this... this is serious...
this movie ain't going no where if they not agree to do it the Haitian way... i don't care how much money they going to spend on it.. the money is for them and the History is ours, the Haitian history and we will never forget our greatest history, we know it! they know it! Haitian please open ya eyes on this movie. This could be the end of us... glover and Mel.. WE will work with you if you want to work with us on this movie... just because we have a lil' trouble understanding each other but we do know what's good and we don't take shit from no one... it's because of the white people always putting their mouth where it doesn't belong, always trying to step on the lil' countries just because we don't have any weapon to kick their asses making the world the way it is now...

This movie might be bad for us... i can feel it,, you guyz just don't know how much the world hate us... talk to ya later and keep it up.. love ya Haitian with all my heart and if the country is still like this in 2 to 3 years.... I say we should renew our independence by doing it again, because 203 yrs of Independence take us no where.. we should scratch that and renew it . Desaline said don't ever be friend with them, they no good to us, they will come and take what we have and go, and that's what they doing because we let them in the country... I hate white people so much....

Yes, the ignorance of where the country is and what it goes through is formidable. However, I have found many Haitians themsleves guilty of ridding/ casting thmeselves of their own country. Many people from EVERYWHERE are easily pointed fingers at for this outcome.
I think the main point here is that a HISTORY has a chance at being told. Many people will be made aware of this history. It's really always still up to the integrity of viewers interested in how much they know and how much they will investigate for themselves.
At least this film will create an opportunity to taste something and learn as opposed to no exposure or worse how Haiti is/and if portrayed today. (CNN and news as fore-mentioned).
Give it a chance to open a lot of eyes! |

what are u saying? you not Haitian yet
