It's also silly that they have not changed NAACP to NAABP. This organization does not represent the other minorities so why the word
colored.
In my opinion, this confusion is making all blacks living in the USA look bad. Do you know how many "African Americans" interpret our national pride and cultural differences? They think that Haitians feel that they are not black. Although lately we don't have much to be proud of but most of us hold on to our heritage with pride.
I would not mind if all blacks in the USA (including Haitians) stood behind the Black Americans. But it's not going to happen until they stop calling themselves "African American" or even worse
"Colored".
