whether it is set in haiti or africa is beyond the point to me. you have a situation of a white guy going after black zombies?! that sounds a little racist to me. are there any white zombies? or why does it have to be a white guy being the hero? is there a clearly defined black or haitian character who is also a hero?
even then, they are going with the assumptions that voodoo is not a religion. perhaps we should protest that fact alone that people are ridiculing what is in fact a religion. if this had been a white guy killing jews that would NOT be acceptable now will it?
