Right is right and wrong is wrong. If you got a ticket at a parking meter more than once, your money probably expired and you didn't get out in time. Thus, you were wrong. People taking meters that cost over $500 for the possibility of $40 dollars is wrong. The only thing in a situation like this that is right is, the prosecution of someone who destroys something that does not belong to them. The prosecution of someone who steals. A ticket issued to someone who's meter expired. Don't get me wrong, I've had my share of parking tickets too, and it's cost me not to come back out and put money in the meter when I thought I would get back before the meter maid got me.
