FORT LAUDERDALE -- A woman was being questioned after authorities found a human skull in her luggage at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, nes partne NBC 6 reported.

The woman was on Lynx Air International Flight 203 from Haiti to Fort Lauderdale. She apparently did not pass the bag check in U.S. Customs at the Fort Lauderdale airport. "It appears that it may be a human skull but we've not confirmed that and it is with the Broward County Coroner's Office for further examination," an airport official told NBC 6.

Security screeners are taught to look for hazardous or dangerous materials that are listed as prohibited under security guidelines, and they found the object believed to be a skull in the woman's bag, NBC 6's Sharon Lawson reported.

The discovery alarmed some passengers, and some came up with their own conclusions about the object. "I don't know. Religious beliefs, freedom -- people get strange things in their heads. So, people bring in what they want," passenger Ben Knowlton said.

The authorities have not released many details about the incident at this point. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials continue to investigate the case.

how somebody can be that stupid? She's only 30 years old. How could she think of bringing somebody's head to the U.S. and not been caught. May be she thought the "hounga" would blind the people at the airport. Anyway it is another sad image for our country. STOP already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
