A farmer is returning from market, where he bought a she-goat, a wolf and cabbage. On the way home he must cross a river. His boat is little, allowing him to take only one of the three things. He can't keep the she-goat and the cabbage together (because the she-goat would eat it), nor the she-goat with the wolf (because the she-goat would be eaten).

How shall the farmer get everything on the other side (without any harm)?

Why are u that depressed? I think the farmer should just build a bigger boat to take at least 2 things at a time or if there is a bridge, just use it!

I will wolf and the goat together covering the wolf eyes with the cabbage, like that it won´t be able to see the goat and won't eat it. And the goat would never try to eat the gabbage over the wolf eyes.

But what in hell a farmer need a wolf for?

Le cabrit-femelle est au mauvais moment du mois, donc elle se sent malade et ne peut manger le chou. De plus, le loup est musulman et ne touche pas à quelque chose de si impur. Le passeur peut donc passer ses passagers dans l'ordre qu'il veut.

Autrement (vu que j'ai quand même besoin des points !), il faut faire :

- prendre, traverser et déposer la chèvre ;

- revenir ;

- prendre, traverser et déposer le chou ; reprendre la chèvre dans le bateau ;

- revenir ; déposer la chèvre ;

- prendre, traverser et déposer le loup ;

- revenir

- prendre traverser et déposer la chèvre.

Take the she-goat to the other side.

Go back, take cabbage, unload it on the other side AND you RE load the she-goat FOR THE TRIP BACK and unload it.

NOW,Take the wolf to the other side AND unload it.

FINALLY Go back for the she-goat. That's it.
