How Much Money Could Actually Fix Haiti?
HAITI AND ITS FIXING PRICE.
By Wilgeens " AfroLatino" Rosenberg.
One thing many people can never understand about Aid money to poor Countries and their Governments to places like Haiti for instance is that, it is all a scam, a big joke game much like playing Monopoly and giving people of those poor nations false hope while the world's government officials are getting richer. How and why you may ask? Well, many countries are giving out aides in the millions at times even billions.

Haiti is a small Country of 9 million people for example, and aides were or have been giving out in sums that is often in the amount of 200 million dollars alone from France of which recently France had doubled that amount. Let us say oh just for mere laughs' sake and work with just that $200 Million for now. if from that $200 Million you were to give $9 million to the 9 million people of Haiti's population as a surplus increase of the $2.00 a day the average poor Haitian depends on to survive that would make it a little better. There would still be exactly $191 million dollars left without even the other doubled additional $200 Million add up the the remainder of the above $191 Million which brings us instead to an amount of $391 Million that is left and that is without even including the other funds from other countries... What is Haiti going to actually do with all the rest of the money? That is without even counting the aid money other Countries will give or have given Haiti that will or have been again in the millions if not more... also with the addition of the so many non-profit organizations that have invested in Haiti with both humanitarian time effort and monetary effort. Why is that things have not gotten better in Haiti, and how come all these aides have never actually fixed anything since and if they are being given out every time and a regular basis to those poor Countries especially to a Country like Haiti in particular?

In other words, even the money of the richest man alive could not help or even buy an Island like Haiti and try to fix it if all those aides money have not or cannot help fix Haiti since Haitians nor their Government have not made those aides money work for Haiti nor taking advantage of these funds. So just how much is Haiti really worth to be fixed?

This amount you are giving us, is it an assumption? Will it be possible for you to break down this amount of money (or aide) in category or as to how many projects were included?

"just for mere laughs' sake if you were to give 1 million dollars to each of the 9 million people of Haiti's population from that 200 million dollars, there would still be exactly 191 million dollars left in addition to the other doubled additional 200 million dollars which brings us instead to an amount of 391 million dollars that is left. This Rosengerb is an idiot, he can't even add. Only 200 people would get 1 million dollars.

But giving $1.00 to each person would not prove the point he was trying to make. Only him knows what he meant, but it's not looking good on paper.
Haitiwebs has helped me a lot with catching mistakes with my writting, now I proof read my letters and emails several times before I send them out. This Rosenberg guy should be more carefull before he puts his name on an article, if he doesn't want to appear like an idiot (he might not be one, but...).

You are talking about people cannot add... Before you claim someone else cannot add how about you learn how to read first huh and perhaps learn how to add yourself in the process so you do not make a fool of yourself. Thus because of that I will lay it down for you in layman's term and with some visuals you are familiar with since words seem to get in your way.
If Haiti has a population of 9 Million people and from a $200 Million Fund or Aid you give $1 Million to that 9 Million people would you not be left with $191 Million you imbecile idiot? Let me put it in layman's term for you: 200 - 9 = 191
Okay then. Now let us say the fund of that $200 Million was doubled which would make it $400 Million now and you give $ 1 Million to that 9 Million people, would you not now have $391 Million left, you senseless cretin? Once again, layman's term 400 - 9 = 391

By the way, keep in mind that this Aid is in Euros which is more than the US dollar.
Now let us say if you were to give each Haitian $1.00 raise to that amount of the only $2.00 a day which is reported that a poor Haitian from the poor mass makes a day or rely on to survive in Haiti if they even have a job to make that $2.00 which in many case many Haitians do not even know where or how to get that $2.00 for that day.
So if you were to give those Haitians or provide a way through some Government project or system of Welfare so that that Haitian is getting $1.00 more a day, would that not be hope to ease up the poverty there? Much more or leave alone if you were to even double that $1.00 to just that $2.00 per Haitian a day, would the mass populace that is leaving in poverty right now would not be better off?

Meanwhile the rest of that fund or aid could be used toward building infrastructures such as roads, schools and hospitals. Then use some portion of that fund to create new institutions or improve old ones which would mean job creation and invest the rest into the Country's Agriculture to promote the National natural production and invest in the farmers and banks to give out loans to people who wish to start new small businesses. Point is, as long a Haitian has a job that pays; getting that extra $1.00 or $2.00 if not more would be an improving plus for that particular one Haitian and now because that individual has a job getting that reported $2.00 a day they use to struggle to get to survive a day when they did not even have a job has just gotten more feasible to get.

Haitians who cross to go to the Dominican Republic go their and face all kinds of humiliation and discrimination for that only 30 Cents more, but the gleam sight of hope they get and why they feel the crossing is worth it is that there is the job whereas in Haiti the job does not even exist for them to seek, because if the jobs were there in Haiti to get, most Haitians would not even mind getting paid $1.50 as long as they know they have a sense of job security to get that measly $1.50. Now imagine if there was the opportunity for a Haitian to get a $3.00 a day job. I bet you even most Haitians working the construction and agricultural domain in the Dominican Republic would come back to Haiti and when they do, they would contribute to the construction of the Nation.

It seems like you did realize that you can't give each haitian 1 million dollars.
Sorry for calling you an idiot, I could have just said that you made a mistake without the name calling.
You have good intentions and if you leave out the part about giving 2 dollars to each Haitian per day (18 million per day; 200 million would be gone in less than a week), you have some good points.
Haiti needs help and it's honorable for you to stand up for Haiti. If you want to run your articles or ideas by me in a private message before you publish them, feel free to do so.

Thank you. Maybe you are this one Haitian who does not need people to spell out the obvious for them, but many others want you to hold their hands and point out the most apparent layman terminologies for them.
My point exactly that an additional $1.00 a day would serve as an improving mean to a poor Haitian whom is trying to struggle already to find this $2.00 a day without even a job of which they rely on that very bare minimum to survive. Now with this extra $1.00 to that $2.00 if they were to have a job which could be created by this fund if it is properly invested in job creating projects thus of which would have made it $3.00 instead of $2.00 to survive, would it not made life easier on a poor Haitian who is part of the poor mass and who is suffering in Haiti?

The point is, you would not end up handing that money out to them like that literally. Case in point is, that money would have been given to the people by instituting structural programs and job creations... When I said $2.00 a day, it would not have been given to them everyday, that was meant and implied as in or in terms of a raise to the already scarce amount of which an individual poor Haitian relies on to survive in Haiti. That $2.00 is said to be the amount a Haitian with or without a job relies on to make it through a day in Haiti. Now imagine for exaggeration's sake if that amount was to drastically grow from $2.00 a day to $3 or $4 a day, but however by providing this individual with a job that pays this much; would it not be a life changer for the average mass poor Haitian?

Okay now, let us say even with the $400 Million in Aid that France has promised to give Haiti without even counting or mentioning the other amounts promised by other Countries like Spain which promised $100 Million...
Do you think anything will actually be done with this much amount? Hell mark my word and do not be surprised or shocked if the Haitian people do not even benefit or even see 1/4 of that money nor it being used to fix anything in the Country much less rescuing and bring relief to the hurricane victims.
It would not be Haitians that you are dealing with. There is a reason why they did not ratify Ericq Pierre who was a banker whom would have had record keeping of these funds. The corrupted Senators and Deputies do not like record keeping competent law binding people so that their personal interest is not threaten.

This amount of money is money France has recently promised to give Haiti which was at first $200 Million, but in wake or in light of the Hurricane France has doubled that amount to $400 Million which by the way is in Euros.
Thus with this much amount of money Haiti could engage in many Projects that could jump start the Haitian economy and if properly invested it could even generate even more money for many other programs that could provide jobs. Why the Haitian Government not taking advantage of this bad situation and take the initiative to build new border towns and improve the old ones that would serve a great tool for the Haitian economy since most of the market exchanges are done at the border between Haiti and the Dominican Republic?
