I just hope Glover does not put too much political nonsense in this movie. Given he was an avid supporter of Aristide I hope he keeps that nonsense to a minimum.

Danny Glover - *Actor Danny Glover will move forward with his labor of love, ?Toussaint,? a biopic of the Haitian revolutionary Toussaint L'Ouverture, who led one of the few successful slave uprisings in history. Wesley Snipes, Don Cheadle and Angela Bassett will star in the film, reports Production Weekly, while Glover will make his directorial debut with the project. Production is set to begin later this year in South Africa.
I hope they read the black liberator , in my opinion the most complete account of toussaint's life. this is a book published in english... but never in french as the french manauscript was stolen... after reading the book i wanted to make the movie..LOL
Hate to say it it but Wesley is pssaed his time and also bad news these days.
His movies are not what you're looking for to represesent a nationality....he plays action figures...no brains...just muscle and looks??
These days people are really going for authenticity. Wesly is NOT it. Go for the underdog with the talent. You'll see how many people stand up and take notice. Don't you want to appeal to everyone...not just the Haitian community. What would be the point? Have a nice day and think about the audience these days.
Wesley is up for all these tax frauds and everyone knows. Hardly a star force in the last while. Give the new man a chance! People like change and variety. Especially raw talent.
