By the way, I work with Edwidge Danticat Brother (Karl) at Dreyfus and he sits a couple cube away from me ..
Toni Morrison is also one author that I like. I like her work on women and racism. I hope Danticat will one day receive a nobel prize for literature just as Toni Morrison.

Wow! OK losing my credibilty for seeming articulate in any fashion. That would be an exciting event, however to meet this young yet so developed and expressive,eloquent writer....Would be an opportunity to cherish! TY again.
Yes Toni Morrison is someone whose words we should abide by. She's an icon in Black literature but also has reached passed that to every reader of all races.
She's had the media much and deserving to her attention as an inspiring writer. Anyone that reads and enjoys fine moments with a book in hand, knows of her instantly. She posseses our emotions and somehow lays them to rest on paper.
Anyone that reads her works ( or movies based on them) can retreat for a while in her ability to engulf us into anothers strife. It's sad ...but I think she wants to make us realize we all suffer the asme pains and worries. I've said my piece...peace...night!
