Haitian Independence Festival, 3rd Edition

North Miami, December 29th, 2005- TMG, Inc., Kaliko Productions and Kompa Factory are pleased to announce to the press and the public in general, that the Third Edition of Haitian Independence Festival will take place on Saturday, January 21st, 2006 at Bayfront Park, 301 Biscayne Blvd., Downtown Miami, beginning at 2:00 in the afternoon ?till midnight.

The groups selected, this year, to represent the Haitian music at this great socio-cultural event, are as follows: Zin - Nu Look ? 509 ? Krezi ? K-Dans - T-Vice - Djakout Mizik- Carimi - Hang Out. Haitian Independence Festival is an occasion for each Haitian to fraternally celebrate the 202 years of the Independence of the Republic of Haiti. An unforgettable event in which the food, the music and the Haitian history will be emphasized.

K-dans?....hmmm are you sure about that? coz I heard the lead singer Jude Jean ain't part of that group anymore, so what's it gonna be? do they have a replacement already? anyhow...it sure won't be the same!!yokes

I wish they'd throw a little racine...you know....have the groups Boukman Eksperyans , RAM, even Koudjay play at that festival !!!!
