Life is good. If you don't know that, take a few second thinking. Deep breath even better. You see...yea, let it out "life is good." My life is good cause most of the things I do I do it for me, and only me. Since I appreciate myself that much, people often take the wrong turn and talk the word to me. Just like my girl Tanisha. She was an extravaganza woman. That every man would spot down the street and ask "Hey mademoiselle, you don't mind me walk down the street and have a cup of coffee with you. But the way I heard the cup there made in gold. Do you?" She would most likely turn them down. For any reason, me spotted Tanisha didn't have any silver-golding word. It was that simple. An eye to an eye, a smile for once. Anyway she became my girl. She was looking for some fun and I was the amusement park. Things ultimately went in heaven direction. We spent every Saturday morning at the Cafe and talk about everything. By 11 the rest of the day would be me and my boys. After a long night I was trying to get to my apartment that was when I heard my cell beep. When I saw the name on the call ID, I step back from my door and gave all my attention to the speaker on the other side.

"Hey...hi" she murmured. Still puzzled by the calling time, I kept my attention, focus.

"Hey...you there" she rehearsed.

"Yea yea I am listening" I said confusedly.

"You're listening!" she repeated.

"Yea" I pressed.

Suddenly she exploded it, ?When we gonna get married?"

I softened my breathing and paused for few second, "pardon me!"

All a sudden she started explaining. You might take the right turn but you took the red light. What explanation that could possibly save you from getting that ticket. She might not realize it but it wasn't my fault. I don't know if it was hers, but not mine.

"Hey" I sheeeed her. Tried to get her attention, ?I just got here. Why don't you give me some time to fix myself and then we can talk about that."I hanged off the phone the second I was done with "that." Since that day Tanisha started dialing the wrong number.

It's a fact of life, people have two crazy-happy weeks together and the next thing that comes to mind is they made for each other, they destined, and here go "marry me." Wrong turn!

It takes too goddamn times, for me, to figure what I want to do with my life, I deeply believe that it is not going to take a week to figure who I want to spend my life with.

Wait a second my phone is ringing.

"hallo...Wrong number?

Outch! that's gotta hurt!.....Ya know.. I'll never ask a man to marry me...no matter how deeply in love I am with his ass!! he ain't gon' hear it from me..huh huh no friggin way!!

That reminds me of a friend back in high school...she met a guy at a basket ball game...they became friends..eventually he told her he loved her...then he took her virginity, From what I heard..they had sex several times... Next thing you know...she became obsessed with the guy , she couldn't make long distance phone calls, so she called me at like 1:00 AM one night...I used my three way calling , got them both on the phone.

Anyway, I was sitting on the couch listening to their conversations..pale pale pale...mwen tande'l di manmzel konsa : " ou sure se mwen ki pran virginite'w"? ....manzel sezi, li tombe kriye! Kariz, I swear tifi a supplier m'syeu pou'l pa kite'l !!! M'syeu tchuipe, li fermer telephone nan!

I know what you mean Spoonie, but I think the problem is deeper than that. What a lot of women failed to realized is that a lot of men who supposedly saying that they have self respect - have no idea what that mean!

They are saying that they respect themselves, yet they are sleeping with every woman that give them the time of day. And the are going through changes without realizing the damages they are causing to their soul. After a while, it hunts them down and it becomes hard to commit to someone because the ability to trust another person has faded.

And I tell you, guys who have been with many girls have a commitment problem. Big problem for the women they are going to get with because he has so many personalities that it's hard to know which one is really his. And what most of them usually do when they leave a relationship is to get another girl, at the expense of forgetting the past. Major mistake because feeling is being passed over to someone that half the time if you were emotionally stable that you'd probably never speak to.
