and third-age category.
Wednesday, February 6.
Gala for the election of the Queen of the 2002 Carnaval.
Friday, February 8.
Proclamatory calvacade officially opening the festivities.
February 8 to 17.
EVERY night partying in Calle Coche de Antonio (at the seaside) with
well-know international music bands. Until 6:00 a.m.
Tuesday, February 12.
Coso, the apotheosis of the carnaval with parade of all the floats
and all the bands. Starts at 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday, February 13,
Burial of the Sardine.
(Nota bene: everyone participates to and cries at the funeral of who
would be Senior Carnaval.)
Saturday, February 16
Children parade, with float,etc.
Sunday, February 17
Pinata Sunday (whatever that means, but including all-night partying
into the end of one more carnaval. Until next year...)
