Both Sharon and Arafat are two extremists who are keen at satisfying their egotism
among other sentiments, such as patriotism, self-preservation ...They lose sight of the fact that they are destroying innocent lives in this protracted war.
I have mixed feelings about this complex, very old fight. Both Israelis and Palestinians seem genuine when they present their respective pleas and try to justify the inhumane actions of their leaders... One can't help but sympathize with their respective causes. But the thought of our tax dollars being used to support senseless people like the Israelis or the Palestinians is nonetheless appalling!
They are to come to a truce soon lest they be treated as villains... lest they markedly decimate their own population...!
