1) Get involved in your community. Join an organization whose position and views corresponds with yours. Get involved in Haitian communities? activities, in your church activities, tutoring Haitian kids, voters? registration etc.

2) Give what you can. Locate different organizations that offer support to Haiti and give a gift to the one you feel most closely resemble you ideals. Some examples

3) Be Conscious of what?s going on by reading local, national, and international papers. Respond to the media to express your opinions, let them know that a Haitian person reading their paper agrees or disagrees with statements in their papers
4) Buy Products from Haiti buying Haitian products will help strengthen Haiti?s economy also buy items from groups and organization you know to support Haiti
5) Learn and teach. Talk to friends and family about what is going in Haiti, educate yourself and others about the rich history of the Haitian culture, come up with solutions no matter how small that can help Haiti
6) Speak out. Call (preferred), e-mail, or write you local, state and national representatives to let them know what you think.

7) Travel to Haiti traveling to Haiti will help the struggling tourism industry, travel in groups as with mission or just to visit family back home, and if you find that you really can not make the trip donate a portion of the trip expense to an organization that you know support Haiti

8) SUPPORT HAITI DIRECTLY: Become a critical part in the processes back home while supporting sustainable structures and pillars such as Education, Health, Agriculture and Irrigation
9) SUPPORT HAITI INDIRECTLY: Naturalize and participate in the electoral process, let our voices count, run for office, strive to own business (Haitian community enrichment and empowerment), Support local Haitian businesses.
