A compatriot wrote in a political forum:
JBA OUGHT TO RESIGN FOR THE SAKE OF THE COUNTRY/PEOPLE.
and the following is my answer
Compatriot I do not think it is impossible for Jean Bertrand Aristide to relinquish power to a democratic coalition without resigning from his post but he would have to become democratic minded first. We saw democracy work in corrupted Argentina where leader resigned after leader within a short period of time just for the sake of preserving the institutions, but haiti being a "cas d'école" and Politics being a haitian science, We cannot expect the same to happen here in Haiti because we do not have serious institutions to preserve yet. This is the job of the next political class.

Compatriot, I am not very sure that The Justice and the Haitian National Police cooperated on the arrest of that drug Kingpin who has been taken to the United States. I think Aristide himself acted as Justice and Police. This is a hell of a lot of a job for one man to do by himself considering the power and the means of the drug cartels, don't you think so? In Modern politics such a man is known as a dictator or an autocrat. How many Drug Kingpins can he handle by himself and who are not the Godfathers of his children?
You see this is where I need help compatriot. I do not understand well the Aristidian democratic way. Perhaps I should just keep my mouth shut until 2006 as an other compatriot lavalassien elegantly proposed. This is our democracy today.
Malé papa. Pa di moun sé mwen ki té di'w sa non.Gen danjé nan bagay sa yo mon frè.Sé la démocrasi "Aristidienne" frèm.
