Former Haiti Presidential Candidate Dumas Simeus set to address Inter-American Development Bank Caribbean and Caribbean-American (IDB) Business Forum

June 16, 2006: Former Haiti presidential candidate Dumas Siméus, chairman and founder of Siméus Foods International, Inc., is set to address participants at the Inter-American Development Bank Caribbean and Caribbean-American Business Opportunities seminar on Monday, June 19.
The event is slated to take place in the main auditorium of the IDB Conference Center, 1330 New York Ave, NW, Washington, D.C. from 9 a.m. and will focus on opportunities for Caribbean and Caribbean-American businesses and consultants at the local, federal and international level.
Two panels of experts from the local and U.S. federal government and international organizations will also discuss how to access U.S. agencies for procurement and consulting opportunities in each of these areas.

Jerry Butler, alternate executive director, Caribbean of the IDB Board of Executive Directors and Congressman Donna Christensen of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Approximately 150 participants from around the United States and the Caribbean are expected to participate in the seminar, that is part of a series of activities at the IDB in June marking the celebration of the inaugural Caribbean Heritage Month in the United States.
