who are the others? who wrote about them and where in this forum? Darius simply mentioned a few haitians who made it abroad, but there is no proof that they are haitian or haitian descent.

Give me a break intruder, would you write a profile article about someone as famous as Dave with so little information?

Haitiwebs.com attracts so many members and guests because of its thorough information given to the general public. For someone as famous as Dave, this sort of information I repeat is insufficient, and not acceptable to profile him in an article as haitian.

If you have any information or found any website with information about Dave's mother and father please let me know and I'll do my best writing a profile article and post it on Haitiwebs.com.

I didnt know this was supposed to be the haitian wikepedia where only verifiable facts should be posted. And like i said i was not posting a profile of anyone. Just merely suggesting another name to be added to the list EVEN THOUGH i thought the list was suspect as the "haitian-ness" of some of the names listed on there is straight BS. I mean come on folks. We all know haitian make up this crap all the time.

As far as Dave goes i personally spoken to dude myself. Hes not a very approachable person for the most part but from what i know he is haitian.

Maseo, (the other big guy in the group) was rumored to be haitian too but he's not. Cool dude by the way. Hang out with him once after a show.

Dont know. Last De La Soul concert i went to was back in November of 05 (i think) when they released the "GRINDDATE" album. I spoke to Maseo that night after the show and he said they were planning a tour for early 07 with Tribe Called Quest once they reunited but it has yet to happen. Pfife was there too by the way

What a lost of time and energy! By trying to make everybody that have realise sometime in the states, haitian or from haitian-descent won't make haiti or haitian nothing more. Whoever your guys are do something with your own life and be something for youself, period. If my grandparents were or are haitian does'nt make haitian or Haiti has something to see with my succes in life. Even though, if I was born in Haiti and become somebody elsewhere, the country itself has nothing to see with my succes or my failure in life. Come on guys go to school get yourself a piece of paper on your wall, do thing everybody can be proud of and you will be O.K.

Like i saidbefore i just hate it when haitians do this as if its gonna make things in Haiti any better. I remeber when rumors about MICHAEL JORDAN being haitian were running wild.

My point has always been this: So wha if they are haitian or of haitian decent. The fact that they are not involved in the Haitian community and dont let it be known that they are haitian mean they want no part of Haiti so why even bring it up?
