Early Life of Wyclef Jean from Wikipedia

Born in Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti as Nelust Wyclef Jean[citation needed], he was renamed Wyclef Jean by his adoptive father. His father was a pastor and re-named him after John Wycliffe[1]. He moved with his family to Brooklyn, New York when he was nine, then to northern New Jersey, where he began playing the guitar and studying jazz in high school. At 14, Jean was shot once.[2].

As a young adult, Jean worked as a cabdriver[citation needed]. In 1987, Jean, his friend Prakazrel Michel (whom Jean has called his cousin), and his classmate Lauryn Hill formed a hip hop group called the Tranzlator Crew before becoming The Fugees.

In 1994 he married Haitian-American fashion designer Marie Claudinette Perrre Jean. Marie is a former pre-med student at Montclair State University, New Jersey turned fashion designer. Marie, named after Haitian Beauty Queen "Claudinette Fushard ", launched her design collection "Fusha" [3].

They have daughter Angelina Claudinelle and another daughter that they adopted in March 2005.

Wyclef is doing what a lot of undercover Haitians won't do which is helping, there NDA stars, NFL stars Actors, and more who are Haitians and don't give a darn about Haiti.

You know its funny, there is a difference between trash and garbage. I'm coming to find that Haitians are some of the best samaritan in the world. They are the first to put out the neighbors garbage on garbage day, when their smelly trash is piling up in their own front door.

Whether true or not. That's domestics. What Clef does in his personal life, is his business. I've even come to find that within my personal business (though I am no where near as famous) people who talk about me, which they were me. And even people who do not know how to clean or choose to not clean know the name "Pine Sol". Like Haitians know the name "Wyclef". And people in Trenton know the name "Lei Lei".
