A native of Barack Obama's Chicago, West was likely included to keep all those politicians' egos in check. Let's just hope Obama's speech doesn't run long, otherwise Democrats might be in for a long night. Wyclef is becoming as well known for his humanitarian work with Haiti as his music, so his appearance at the convention makes sense. The most left-field pick is N.E.R.D., though the Democrats obviously view the band's single "Everybody Nose" — with its chorus of "All the girls standing in the line for the bathroom" — as a shocking indictment of the current administration's futile War on Drugs. If Obama's iPod has a say in who performs, we expect Stevie Wonder and Wilco to be added to the bill any day now. On the celebrity front, Scarlett Johansson, Ben Affleck, Warren Beatty and Annette Bening are all planning on appearing. Both Coors and Anheuser-Busch are sponsoring, so a good time will be had by all. | |

Ok... we need to change the format of this whole forum to make it more appealing to the general public. Store all the news articles in one section. Leave the general forum open for random fukkery. Gve it 3 months and watch
