I Need Assistance - Haitian Flag Day - Miami

I need help.

My daughter is graduating high school. For graduation all she wants is to go to Florida for Haitian Flag Day, hit the beach while she is there and visit her favorite show, Miami Inc. We are looking to leave May 15 and returning either May 18 or May 19.

Here's my issue, I don't know anything about Miami, I need recommendations on where to stay (that's nice and reasonible), where the event is, where the parties are and places to make sure we cover while down there.

This is my daughters (I'm bringing two of them to Miami) first encounter and true interaction with Haitians. Not to put them on blast but after looking at a flyer that was put in our store, they didn't even know that the members of TVice were Haitian

they argue me down that they were Spanish. Also, her senior project is to build a furnished solar panel room and she doesn't for some reason believe that people from the Caribbean islands or the gov't can afford solar paneling as she is working on the budget. Hence, here is what set this trip into motion. This trip is going to be educational and pleasurable. Any assistance that anyone can give me I would deeply appreciate. Any comments that can be posted so I can have her read will be much appreciated also.

First you should contact the organiser. i think it's Kalito production. and they should be able to help you out. ask if they have any special VIP section. you can google them.
