Talk about Destra Garcia. The beautiful 27 year-old socca star is making
her way onto the international stage. Last Thursday, at the UWI Splash in
Chamaguas, she electrified a crowd of several thousands with a tour of
rare virtuosity.
Her powerful voice is not what her fans remember most. She is more
impressive by her high energy output and her ability to captivate, to
establish a virtual eye contact with her audience.
Destra dances, jumps, and does not stop. Her sex appeal is magic. She
wore a little skimpy skirt over a silky underwear. And guess what
everyone was later talking about after the show?
Destra, diva by her own right, is taking the socca scene by storm. Her
latest CD feature a naked body on the cover. Hers? She says no, it was
computer-generated. Few have chosen to believe her.
