"gateau tarte de vienne"
Hello everybody, the birthdays of my two little girls are coming up soon and I would love to make them a "gateau tarte de vienne" like the ones we buy in the bakeries in Haiti. Could someone out there please give me the recepie for the "tarte de vienne and also for the white icing" that goes with it, I would truly appreciate it.

Have you ever thought of purchasing an Haitian CookBook?...There are plenty of them out there (C'mon let's support the people) that's what you should do...they're pretty cheap and they have the best recipes ever including that Tarte de Vienne you're looking for. I ordered one, I can't wait for it!!

I have a few Haitian cookbooks but none of them have the recipe for tarte de vienne. I heard that there is a nice one that came out that actually has the recipe in it "La Cuisine Haitienne" by Marcelle L.J. Désinor, but I live in France and would have to wait for my next visit in the states because I cant seem to get it shipped international. Thanks anyway.
