Paul Berenger to represent International Francophonie Organisation (OIF) at Haiti induction ceremony
Port Louis, Mauritius, 05/09 - Paul Berenger, leader of the Mauritian Militant Movement (MMM), will officially represent the International Francophonie Organisation (OIF) during the induction of Haiti`s president-elect, Rene Preval.
"OIF Secretary General Abdou Diouf has asked me to represent OIF. This is a honour for me," said Berenger who leaves here Wednesday for Port-au-Prince.
Berenger led OIF observers during the first round of the Haitian presidential polls last February.
