Caribbean countries likely to purchase cement from Venezuela
Len Ishmael, director of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), said she is taking steps for procurement of cement out of the Caribbean Community and Market (Caricom) in order to solve the "serious shortage" facing the region, Efe reported.
She added that
OECS is considering several plants in Colombia, México, Venezuela and
Haití that could supply cement.
"We have to ensure enough cement supplies, as this issue is vital for economic development."
