Football/Soccer - Popular Haitian Soccer clubs
In Port-au-Prince Haiti, Racing CH, Violette AC, Don Bosco and Aigle noir were the most popular clubs. Baltimore SC and Tempete FC (both based in St. Marc Haiti) have a great number of fans. Haitiwebs Soccer would like to know which team our readers support the most. Please participate in this poll and if your favorite team is not listed please shout out in a reply to this thread.

I don't know much about the soccer teams in Haiti, but I know my parents' favorite was always Racing. Racing was number 1 in the 60s to 80s according to them. I knew most of the players when was a little girl.

Pana,
I think you should list all first division teams in your poll. I know most people would like to represent and pick their own town club if they are part of it, then you will get a true feeling of how well known clubs are and how much they are love...

I knew you would say that so I asked the members to "shout out" in the reply box if their favorite team or home team is not listed. Not too many users read the post, I know. If I had a few "shout outs" for an unlisted team, the plan was to list them. I'm surprised the St-Marcois and St-Marcoise are not voting yet. Both of those clubs had their website running recently.

On ne peut en aucun cas parler de la popularité des clubs de P-Au-P qui jouent leurs matchs dans un stade S.Cator entièrement vide......le Tempete de Saint-Marc et l'ASC sont les clubs les plus populaires d'Haiti actuellement ,viennent ensuite Le Baltimore et le Cavaly
sans oublier un club de la 2ème division US Arcahaie ci devant Catherine Flon.Ceci tient compte du grand nombre de supporteurs qui assistent aux rencontres à domicile de ces clubs cités plus haut.
Le Racing .C.H et Le V.A.C ,c'est donc le passé au niveau de la popularité.......les dirigeants de ces clubs ne cachent plus leur déception dans les médias du fait que depuis près d'une dizaine d'années le public sportif boude les affiches présentées au stade national......alors que les Belkolonn supportent le TFC bon tan mové tan au parc Levelt ,les fans 4 par 4 du Baltimore et les djocannel (fans)de L'ASC sont dignes d'éloge dans leur fief respectif.......

Merci pour ces infos, cela demontre que les clubs de Port-au-Prince sont tres affectes par la tension politique de la capital.
Ces Clubs de Port-au-Prince, surotut Violette AC et Racing CH sont toujours tres populaires dans la Dispora. Pourtant ils n' ont jamais meme essayer d' avoir un website. Haitiwebs Soccer a pour mission de reconnecter la Diaspora avec leur clubs favoris, c'est donc le but de ce "poll".

I'm very happy to hear that the clubs from ST Marc have each their website. I have been to Baltimore and tempete web sites.. Great to see and it does allow the diaspora to keep in touch with Haitian soccer. I would like to see more of the 1st division clubs following the example that St Marc had set. I hear that ASM ( Association sportive de Mirebalais) has a web site and I have been searching for it under numerous names and cant find it. If it is true, can someone forward me the link? I thank you in advance.
