TRYOUTS: Long Islands Rough Riders to hold sessions on Jan. 3-4
The Long Island Rough Riders will hold tryouts for their Premier Development League team on Wednesday, Jan. 3 and Thursday, Jan. 4.
Tryouts will be held at the Rough Riders Indoor Center
at Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale, L.I.. from 10 a.m.-noon each day.
Players must register online by Jan. 3 in to attend tryouts.
These tryouts are for college-eligible players, based on the age guidelines designated by the PDL.
?We look forward to putting together a highly competitive squad and giving our fans the season they deserve,? Rough Riders president Peter Zaratin said in a statement.
This is the first in a series of tryouts over the next few months.
The Rough Riders moved to the PDL for the 2007 season, joining the Albany Admirals, Brooklyn Knights, Cape Cod Crusaders, Ottawa Fury, Rhode Island Stingrays, Vermont Voltage and Westchester Flames.
