Football/Soccer - Why is Haiti playing Honduras, Salvador, Bahamas, Chile, etc?

Subject: Why is Haiti playing, Honduras, Salvador, Bahamas, Chile, etc?
I went and Examined ther past results of our oponents for the Gold Cup, I also take a look at what they want to do in preparation for the Gold Cup, so this is what i can come up with.
Gold Cup Opponents: Guadeloupe-Costa-Rica-Canada
Guadeloupe :Is not even recognized by FIFA as a country , since theyre part of the France Federation de Football (FFF).In MARCH 28th they played and tied Trinidad 2-2 ,at the end of the half they were ahead 2-0, so don't under estimate them yet.Why they play Trinidad because they will face us in their first Game and we beat Trinidad.
Future :I can't Find anything about them for the upcoming Fifa day ,thye don't have a website either.
Costa-Rica: Curent Champions of the Uncaf , lost to PANAMA 1-0 in their group stage encounter , then drew 1-1 at Final game where they won in penalty 4-1,so the game we played versus Panama was very , very good. They Beat Trinidad 4-0 in Feb Right after we play the TRINIS,Beat Honduras 3-1 in Feb,BEAT Salvador 2-0,Beat Nerw Zealand 4-0 and drew Chile 1-1.
Future for them ,one game against Chile again in June , two weeks after we played Chile.
Noticed that except for New Zealand , Costa-Rica had played all the teams we will play and beat them all, except for PANAMA and Chile.
Canada:Only played Bermuda so far , and beat them 3-0 in an away game, why Bermuda had played HAITI twice and we beat them 3-0 and 2-0 in both games in January.
Future : They will be playing Honduras in June , right before the Gold Cup .
In my Opinion this will be the most difficfult team to play in June because they have been preparing but they don't play that many matches for us to examine them very well , my suggestion we need the tape of the game versus Bermuda and the one versus Honduras so we can be ready when we have to face them.
In conclusion : our Schedules games except for the games agaisnt BAHAMAS will be very beneficial ,True Bahamas might play similar to Guadeloupe but it is a weak team.
El Salvador,Honduras,Guatemala are valuable opponents, we should try our hardest agaisnt them , although we play them in a such a small window , which might be regratble.
As far as Chile is concern ,thye have just lost to Brazil 4-0 and drew Costa-Rica 1-1.
Future :They will play Argentina next week (Apr 18th), play Haiti in Port-au-Prince then Costa-Rica in June.
So after the game on MAY 16, we will know what kind of a team we have going in in the Gold Cup , but i'm suggesting we play a game against a team like MEXICO by June 2nd , the US will play China on June 2nd we are the only team going in the Gold Cup not playing on June 2nd .
Let me know your thoughts guys ....

Well I think you have a magnificent point of view about the preparation. I think the reason we may not play in June 2nd the Coach probably rest the players for the upcoming games.
I don’t know what other people think, but this my outlook

It's not crucial that we play on June 2nd I like everything about this schedule. The team will get better with every game and will be ready for the Gold Cup.
This is the way it has been in the past: No games prior to the competions, the team looks lost on their first game, plays better on their 2nd and play their best game on the 3rd match. This has been happenning for the past 7 years at all categories from U-17 to Senior. This time we'll be ready for game 1!

Your analysis is a good one Kapwa, we need to play against these teams, also do not forget we may face them for the world cup qualify, so is better to know them now.
What about Peguero ? is he still playing ?

Good Job Kapwa!!
While the immediate focus may be the Gold Cup, we have to look beyond that when it comes to Central America! In order to reestablish ourselves in the Concacaf, we will have to through that region, so the more we see them, the better. The way I see it, we have to get used to beating these guys so that when the World Cup qualifiers come around, we will simply continue our dominance.
It is very very early and it is going to take everything we have, but the eventual goal has to be South Africa!!
First things first though!
These are very good opponents that will help us gauge where we are at and tell us what we need to work on. The games are kind of close, but it will give the coach an opportunity to try different lineups. It will also give some of the rarely used guys opportunities to gain international experience. While the Bahamas may be a weaker team, it will keep us on our toes and get us to the point where the opponent does not dictate how we play. I am hoping that Lesly and Tim Velten will be able to make it. I don't think they have been given a fair chance yet. As for June 2nd, I think that will be cutting it close, but I will definitely like to see another game after Chile though. I believe the team is suppose to go to France before the tournament, so a game in Europe would be a superb idea!!

Hi Guys

Honestly I would like to see those overseas players on the Gold cup team. We have to evaluate these guys at some point and know what we have and if we can depend on them. Now is the time, the Dutch championship will end before June so the coach needs to bring them back and try them out at their positions, not experimenting like he did the last time out against U20 USA team... They are forwards, use them as forwards, like that we will see their true qualities and faults.. I'm looking forward to this Gold cup and for the first time, I will travel from NY to Miami for a soccer tournament to see Haiti play..
PS: Last time I went to see the NT in New York, we got totally destroyed by Honduras. (4 - 0).. I'm expecting a lot more this time around..
