Phaiti,
YOu can e-mail me at jahnablomb@hotmail.com. I check my e-mail everyday so it won't be a problem for me to reply to you in a heart beat.
One thing you wanna try to do is to try to get a good tape of you playing. There are programs out there that can help you get that even if you are not part of a soccer team.
FOr example, InfosportINc. they can help you. Go on their website InfosportInc.com (try infosportsinc.com if that doesn't work) and read all the information on the soccer section and pro combine soccer section.
If you know you are good then you have to do something about it. Luckily, we are in a great country.
and it is easy to get scholarships and transfer to another school. if you can do that, do it while you are a freshman.
Getting a tape is the first step to getting discovered because most team won't invite you to a tryout if you don't have one. Just e-mail me and hopefully you'll see how easy it is to get discover if you work and look hard enough.
Panoramix,
To answer your question, I play forward and attacking midfielder normally. But I can play any other positions. I had to realize that you have to be versatile to make it in the soccer world. it's sad that we cannot realize how versatile a haitian player is.
I'm graduating from Florida STate university next summer so now I know school won't be in my way. I appreciate the support. it's feel very special since now I can get it from my people (haitians). I had been getting from other people. everywhere I go play, even for fun, they ask me where am i from?
as of right now I'm on the player pool for the U.S U-23 team. what the player pool is, as you might already know, it's a list of players available that the U.S can call on at any given moment but it doesn't mean I play for the U.S yet. I'm a U.S citizen but you know fifa rules I can always play for my native country as long as I'm not registered under U.S soccer federation.
we need to build up a site just for info about new talents. I don't care if somebody just saw them playin in a backyard. I run into haitians that can play all the time. I went to a small town named wabash in Indiana and there was a haitian there. that man was super good to me, but you won't know he's haitian unless he tells you.
let's keep in touch, and thank you for your support in advance.
Phaiti, e-mail me.
Peace
