USA/Haiti Tape

Do you remember who was next in line? Pano, Phaiti Do you guys remember?

I finally saw the game yesterday. I am actually happy that we did not win that game. A win would have sent the wrong message.

While we had quite a few chances that we should have capitalized on, it is clear that we were still in the learning stages. Our defense was in dissaray. The US players had too much time with the ball and we made quite a few mistakes in the back. We got lucky on a few occasions. We had no control of the midfield. We are definitely gonna need that against Jamaica. I hope that the combination Bruny/Jn Jacques totally secures the back. I am actually thinking that we should play with 2 liberos, One backing up the other.

Corriolan is gonna have to some close support. We need 1 or 2 more players in the midfield to help him control the flow of traffic.

The one guy that really impressed me was Bourciquot. This guy belongs in the starting line up. He is always a threat to score. And that is the area that Haiti has been lacking in.

Peguero had a long way to go he was dancing with the ball and not taking on the defenders and he sometimes held the ball too long. I do think that his experience in the MLS will make a difference. That should give him an edge and much more confidence.

Descollines should have score at least 2 goals. Once he had a break away one on one with the goalie, then he was given a perfect ball on top of the box. That is probably because of lack of competition, but hopefully the last few game has gotten him ready. Descollines is a very good player and we very much need him. He is 27 so he should be in his prime right now. As a veteran he should be the one taking charge up front. He has the skills. I have seen him do it before. He played a great game against Ecuador in the 2002 Gold cup, although he let down against Costa Rica when we really needed him. Hopefully Clavijo can find a way to create some consistency in him.

Lastly we were not playing as a unit where the ball was moving around and everybody supporting the others. We had some good touches, but I know we can do better. If the defense is set. We have control of the midfield and our forwards are on point not only will we go pass Jamaica, the US and Mexico will start paying attention. We have the talent, we just need to play as a team. I really like our chances!!!!!

It was definitely a beneficial game. One in which I am sure the team learned a lot.

I haven't got a chance to see the game. is there any way I can get to a tape? help me if you can? I am a firm believer In Germany 2006. If we apply great conditionning to the talent that we have we will make miracles. I believe that after june 20th the wrold of soccer will start paying more attention to us.

more players will get contract. We as supporters might want to start a fund-raising to congratulate the players if they advance to the next round.

Anyways, I need to get in touch with the Haitian officials. I play soccer and I 'm 20. I'm in school in tallahasseee, fl. next summer I'm going to germany to tryouts for a 3rd divisions team over there. My agent is currently working on some other great opportunities for me both in italy and france. So I need to get in touch with my people. I'm also on the player pool for the U.S under-23 team. I believe if I get that deal in germany they might start calling me to camps but I wanna play for my native country HAITI. There is more passion and more love for the game. ANyway, I'm young I'm praying for haiti to get to the world cup and I know for sure we will pass jamaica. this is in our destiny I believe to return to germany. We will have a next Emanuel Sanon.... well let's keep this movement alive. Let's go HAiTI 2006.

Hey I wish you all the luck in the world Haiti2006. I will have to wait and find out who is next on the list to get the tape. If I don't get a response soon you'll be next. Either way you are now on the list so you will eventually get it.

As far as a contact is concerned, your best bet is to get a contract do your thing and they will come looking for you. I am sure these guys are approached by dozens of people wanting a tryout or a place on the team. So, the way to beat all these guys out is to make a statement by making a splash in whatever league you get into.

Thank you man. I hoep you make it safe and sound to miami. I can't sleep cauz I 'm counting by the minute for june 12th. We'll make the news on every show who talks about soccer. it's time for descolines to make his name heard. he's capable of doing it, I know that. he did it before. my mom's entire house is praying right now. They sick, they're thirsty for a victory. We will see. it's time for our players to get the recognition they deserve.
