CONCACAF Champion's cup Caribbean qualifiers will start soon and with no sponsors, Haitian clubs can't afford to travel. The last club that made the expense was Violette A.C. about three years ago (finishing 3rd in the group). Haitiwebs has taken the initiative of exposing Haitian Football on the internet and we hope that with the support of the Diaspora, businesses (travel, telecom, money transfer, shipping etc...) will look to sponsor our soccer clubs. We will not improve internationally if we don't improve our national league. The Ouverture 2005-2006 is scheduled to start in October and Haitiwebs Soccer will help Haitian football fans from around the world to reconnect with their favorite teams.

It's ASM (Association Sportive de Mirebalais) et Le Baltimore FC de St Marc, winners of ( Ouverture et Cloture) rounds who are eligible to participate in the Concacaf of Champion Clubs. For anyone who didn't follow the Haitian Soccer League last year.

as it was reported in TNH (Television National Haiti) football season was opening on september 9 thru December 15th and on January 13 thru mai 15th....

what this about the season starting on October?

Football, vers l'ouverture de la nouvelle saison le 9 septembre.(mardi 09 août 2005)

Dans une correspondance adressée aux Clubs de 1ère et 2ème divisions masculines, le Comité Exécutif de la fédération haïtienne de football a l?avantage de les informer que les périodes d?organisation des compétitions nationales pour la saison 2005-2006 ont été ainsi fixées :

1ère période : 9 septembre 2005 / 15 décembre 2005

2ème période : 13 janvier 2006/ 15 mai 2006

En conséquence, les activités d?enregistrement de joueurs débuteront le 22 août 2005 et prendront fin le 10 octobre 2005 pour la première période. Elles auront lieu du 3 au 31 janvier 2006 à l?occasion de la seconde période de compétitions nationales.

N.B : Au cours de la deuxième période d?enregistrement le nombre de joueurs enregistrés ne pourra pas dépasser trois (3).

nice to see you here, I hope you stay active in our forum as well. For your information, Haitiwebs is more up to date then TNH. The season has been postponned because the 2nd division matches are not over yet. Keep visiting us...
