Haiti?s Under-20 women?s team earned a perfect ?played three, won three? record as they claimed top-spot in Group D of Caribbean qualifying for the CONCACAF U20 tournament.

In the group?s decisive game, victory over hosts, Dominican Republic, did not come easily and was only secured with a last-minute winner courtesy of a goal by L Jesula in second half injury time.

Haiti had taken the lead on the 29th minute with a goal by J Roslene but the home side quickly equalised courtesy of a goal by J V Lopez on 32 minutes; the first goal scored against the Haitians in the event. The game remained tied until Jesula?s strike at the end of the game.

In the group?s other encounter US Virgin Islands defeated British Virgin Islands by a 12:0 score line with goals for G Page (9?, 87?), M Taylor (15?, 32?), S Holloway (22?, 74?, 88?), Z Kaza-Amlak (28?, 54?) F Ferrante (33?, 82?) and S Parrilla (44?).

In winning Group D, Haiti claims a berth in the Caribbean Zone Final Round taking place in Trinidad & Tobago this coming November.
