On Sunday, November 13 2005, Stade Sylvio Cator will host two teams that have started their season with a bang. Aigle Noir fought to avoid relegation last season despite having a prestigious record among the elite of the Haitian Premiere division. The popular club of Bel Air surprised everyone by defeating Violette A.C. by a commending score of 2:0. Both goals scored during the second half and both teams finished the match with 10 men. Aigle noir will be without the services of Eddy Bonhomme for a week and Violette's Walter Joseph is also suspended for week 2.

The visiting team, Racing des Gonaives has been consistent over the past seasons among the top 10 in the standings. Racing des Gonaives dominated Roulado de la Gonave and inflicted a heavy defeat in their home-opening. After a scoreless first half, the Gonaiviens appeared inspired coming out of the locker room and the avalanche of goals started 12 minutes into the second half with Clerçant Clerjuste breaking the deadlock. RCG continued dominating the game in terms of possession and in the 68th minute Jackson Jean would find the back of the net, 2:0. Only five minutes later, in the 73 minute Antonio Despinasse nailed the coffin shut by adding to the tally, 3:0. Tension rose during the game and Roulado finished the game with 10 men when Frantz Badio was issued a red card by referree David Edren. In the 90th minute Roulado would score a pride goal through the efforts of Kimberly François, final score RCG 3:1 Roulado.

Both teams have demonstrated a potent offense so far, and have the stamina to be dangerous in the 2nd half of the match. Aigle Noir is playing at home in Stade Sylvio Cator and will have a 12th man advantage with the frenzied Bel Air crowd. Racing des Gonaives will have to repeat their possession game in a hostile environment and they will need to keep their composure during the game. Aigle Noir was not very consistent in terms of performance last season and they must show to their fans that last week was not a stroke of luck.
