After the fall of FICA last season, nothing is impossible. Violette AC and Racing Club Haitien has been the two most popular Football clubs in Haiti for a long time. Coach Phillipe Vorbe wants to focus on youth but will be forced to sign some veterans if the team fails to rally back to victory in the coming weeks.
Violette is in 15th position in the Ouverture 2005 Standings after week 5. Coach Vorbe's youngsters will face a determined Victory team ranked 3rd in the standings. Victory came close to a win last week after James Chaperon opened the score with just 3 minutes into the game. Victory had the lead until the 86th minute when Yvner Normil of US Freres equalized with a penalty kick. Yvner Normil is part of Haitian Football History as the first US Freres player to score in the premiere division.
