FIRED Mo Johnston out as Red Bulls coach

Mo Johnston was fired as New York Red Bulls head coach Tuesday morning. Assistant Richie Williams will take over on an interim basis.
Johnston's tenure lasted just eight months. His final game was the Red Bulls worst of the season, a listless 2-0 defeat by the Chicago Fire Sunday.
The Red Bulls are currently last in the Eastern Conference with a 2-7-3 record and host the Columbus Crew Wednesday night.
