About number 6 and 7, I wouldnt say haitians are lazy or cant save money.
Personally i have trouble saving money in a savings account but if i tie it up into something like stocks and mutual funds i do very well saving it. The others... well you have to ask haitians just how badly do they want to progress

That's just the problem! For years everybody has been complaining but the big majority is resisting changes.
The biggest laugh in those nine points was punctuality. Then the respect of the law and of others.
You will see that Haiti has more philosophers, always eager to write open letters and criticize, but none of them would do something about it. And the handful who does, well most don't like them because they have money. In Haiti it is a sin to have money, regardless if you work hard for it or not.

My experience? Haitians are hard workers .... when they work for the blan. When they work for Haitians, they are a lazy bunch. I had Haitians working for me, and I saw Haitians working for foreigners.

Trust me i know the feeling. I used to work at this company and the Haitians that worked under me started getting lazy too when i became a manager. Acting like i was not going to write them up or fire their asses because i was their "neg lakay".
But its all about dicipline. The whites do it too and so do AA's (african americans).
The key is to have an iron fist at first. Once i put a few in their place they acted accordingly. So did the AA's and whites. If you're in a management position and you tolerate things you will get abused no matter what your employees background is. Once you get tough on them and get a few on Final warnings or fired they rethink their approach and come correct. Once you have their respect, THEN AND ONLY THEN you realease that tight grip/iron fist.
People will tell you im the nicest person to be around. Its sad i had to get into management to be referred to as an "asshole". That is why i have not taking any other upper management positions since

You summarized it well. I always have a ball watching them at the airport in Miami. They behave well, in an orderly manner. Once the plane lands in Haiti... woyyye. It's hard to believe these are the same people. It's a "sauve qui peut".

Iron fist. Thats all it takes.
I remember when i first got yhr job some of the other managers used to laugh at me for all the sh!t i was going through with employees. Heck even those i was friends with werent cooperating. I was so close to resigning then my mentor Stacey told me "we're going to clean up this department" She had this evil grin in her face but i didnt know what she was up to. Maaaannnnn... we wet on a freakin write up spree that the Human Resource department at that company will never forget. :shocked2: I was writing people up for sh!t even i didnt want to write them up for but we had to get the point accross even though i felt ba=d about it.
Once people noticed what was going on they started shoowig up on time. maitaining their performance and obeying the dress code and th place was like heaven. I still resigned 3 moths later though. The position was taking up too much of my time

Haiti have citizens with most of the characteristics - just not combine.
-Most of the educated one are abroad sharing their knowledge with foreigners. The ones who stay are using everything and everyone to achieve personal goals.
-Constant competition between those with BIG dreams. Thus, nothing gets done. Mr. light will not support Mr. black.
I think most people enjoy working, they can't find jobs.
