The tremendous contribution of most Haitian women to their society has neither been recognized nor documented. Despite this, the resilience of Haitian women, whether in their daily lives or in their writing, has enabled them to make strides towards improving their lives.
March 8th is International Women's Day, a time to celebrate the achievements of women across the globe. This year, I'd like to extend the celebration all month long, I am inviting the members of Haitiwebs to put the spotlight on a present-day Haiti's most amazing women in the Diaspora as well as in Haiti.
