Haiti needs a well organized football youth program.

Haiti needs to established a football youth program, that will provide education, training and infrastructures for the development of football in Haiti. Without this effort, Haiti will not be able to compete with the CONCACAF's teams 10 years from now. Many of the top countries in the CONCACAF have already started their youth program and have built the necessary training facilities. It's only a matter of time before Haitian players are totally out-classed. Some efforts have been made in Haiti by Haitian Minister of sport, Evans Lescouflair in youth soccer. Although he deserves some credit, the input is not nearly enough. Unfortunately youth footbal development is not one of the top priorities in Haiti. With all the love and support Haitian have for football, Haitian corporations should be investing their money in soccer, perhaps they are waiting for the current economic situation and the political crisis in Haiti to blow over.
