Nigeria shows overconfidence going into the World Cup's Group of death.

Nigeria is in group F with Argentina, England and Sweden. This group is by far the toughest group of the world Cup. Yet Nigeria midfielder Jay Jay Okocha reckons his team will already have qualified for the next stage before they meet England in the World Cup finals. In other words Nigeria would have defeated Argentina and Sweden before they get to play England.
"The Super Eagles are also up against Argentina and Sweden in the so-called 'group of death'. But the Paris St Germain star was adamant that beating both and then humbling England was a possibility.
He said: "Every game is like a final to us, especially the English game because that will be our last game.
"It may be that we have qualified already before playing England. That would make it a little bit easier for us."
It could be that England would have to take to the field without injured David Beckham, but Okocha insisted his absence would not be too significant.
He said: "England have a very good squad. I don't think that they depend only on Beckham.
"We are not looking at any individual player, we are looking at England as a team and I believe that they have a good team.
"Anybody who plays in his place will give a good performance."
Nigeria take on Scotland in a friendly at Aberdeen on Wednesday."
