Brazil's starting 11 will play in the 3:5:2 formation.

Brazil's unpopular coach Scolari Settles on Brazil's Starting Lineup for World Cup Opener. His starting line-up is very promising and if it wasn't for Brazil's lack of proven top class defenders This would be the reciepe for a World Cup Champion.
"Kleberson is set to make his debut. Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has named the 11 players who will take the field in the Selecao's World Cup opener against Turkey on June 3rd.
Among the 11 is the surprise inclusion of Kleberson. The 22-year old midfielder from Atletico-PR has impressed Scolari sufficiently in training to earn his World Cup debut. Corinthians midfielder Vampeta appears to be the player Kleberson supplanted."(Soccerage)
Here is the full lineup (3:5:2):
Marcos (GK);
Defenders:Lucio, Edmílson and Roque Junior;
Midfielders: Cafu, Emerson, Kleberson, Rivaldo and Roberto Carlos;
Forwards:Ronaldo and Ronaldinho.
Rivaldo will play directly behind Ronaldo and Ronaldinho and will often use them as decoy to land his patented left foot. He's also very creative and will supply the stike pair with many scoring opportunities (Triple R formation). Cafu and Roberto Carlos will play on the wings, but they'll start from the midfield instead of the defense, both are deadly on the wings, Cafu on the right and Roberto Carlos on the left. Emerson and Kleberson will play as defensive midfielders, Emerson the captain ( so far) will keep the relatively inexperienced Kleberson in check (those 2 working together is essential to Brazil's survival).
Then we have the achile's heel , the defense formed by Lucio, Edmílson and Roque Junior. Players like Batistuta, Trezeguet and Michael Owen (if his team gets far enough) will have a picnic with those defenders. Scolari's solution to this dilema is to encourage fouling and his also training the team to play with 10 men in case one player is sent off. Scolari's plan seems bullet proof, Brazil will score many goals in this World Cup. There toughest opponents will be teams with World Class defenders like Italy an France. Hopefully Scolari will be smart enough to rearrange the Selecao, when playing against those teams.
