30.09.02 - Jamaica and Haiti played to a scoreless tie in the second leg of their Caribbean Zone Qualifying series on Sunday in Port-au-Prince, giving the Haitians the final spot in Group B in the FC Under-20 final tournament, to be played from 13-17 November in Charleston, South Carolina USA (Blackbaud Stadium attached).
Haiti win the series 2:1 on aggregate after having defeated Jamaica by that same score line at the Harbour View Stadium in Kingston in the first leg of their series in Kingston on 15 September.
Joining Haiti in Group B of the final tournament are the hosts, North Zone members Canada and Central Zone runners-up El Salvador. Meanwhile, Group A of the FC final tournament, to be held in Panama from 16-20 October, will join the host nation, UNCAF champions Guatemala, Caribbean Zone qualifiers Cuba and North Zone representatives Mexico.
The top two in each final tournament earn berths in the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship, to be held 25 March-16 April 2003 in the United Arab Emirates.
