Victory FC the guys of "bas peu de chose" sa they are called, was promoted to the 1st division in Ouverture 2003. They made the best marketing move of the league by appointing Roberto Martino, singer of popular Haitian band T-Vice as vice-president. They started the Ouverture season with a shock win against FICA, but it turned out to be their only win in the Ouverture serie. Now with one week left to the end of the Cloture, Victory is in first place, and in position to win the cloture. (Read full article, there's a real "meli-melo" going on.)

In the Ouverture serie Victory finished in the relegation zone in 15th place. Although they've had an excellent cloture serie, on the aggregate table, the club is still vulnerable to relegation. In week 14 Victory lost against Violette A.C and in week 15 they will face one of the most stable teams in the league Don Bosco F.C.

If Valencia wins against ASC, and if Victory loses against Don Bosco, Victory will be relegated to the 2nd division. But, if Violette A.C loses against Zenith, Victory could lose and still win the cloture. Thus it's possible that Victory could be champion of the cloture serie and relegated to the 2nd division at the same time. Zenith is also in the relegation fight, and with a superior goal differential and two games in hand (one game might be forfeited pending LINAF decision) can still win the cloture.
