Happy holidays from the staff of Haitiwebs sport Section. Hours left until 2004, and we must make our resolution to help improve the soccer development of Haiti. As members of the Sport media, the Haitiwebs Sport Section is dedicated to continue to bring you the best coverage of Haitian Football on the web. We believe that exposing the clubs will help the clubs find sponsors, and increase their value. The biggest hit that Haitian Football took was when Haiti stopped having a stable power supply. Because the games are not televised, the teams are worth less to the sponsors. Our goal is to expose the clubs here, and hopefully they might attract the attention of some businesses, whether it's money transfer, airlines, cargo, freight shipping etc... To make 2010 a reality we need to improve the level of play in our leagues.

1974-2004; 30 years and counting since Haiti?s last World Cup appearance. For at least 20 of those years Haiti has been absent from international competition. The Championnat National was not held for 13 years during this period and was discontinued in the 1991/1992 season. We have just completed our 11th season with no interruption, and although we've had and continue to have administrative problems, we are now at least a threat to the big names of the CONCACAF. The Haitiwebs Sport Section's goal for 2004, is to expose Haitian League Football, to the Haitian Football fans of the World. We hope this exposure will raise interest in the teams, and will help them get fans and sponsors.
Thank you all for reading the Haitiwebs Sport Section,
We wish you all a great 2004 year!
