The Turks & Caicos Islands (TCIFA) began their preparations for CONCACAF World Cup Qualification next month losing the first of five matches against TCIFA clubs last week.

SWA Sharks/KMG United FC Select XI handed the host, Turks & Caicos Islands a 2:1 loss at the TCIFA National Academy on 14 January.

Under technical director Paul Crosbie, the Turks & Caicos continue their warm-up games at the TCIFA National Academy, with matches against Caribbean All Stars FC (21 January), Police FC (28 January), Provopool Celtic/KPMG United FC Select XI (4 February) and MFL Select XI (8 February).

The Turks & Caicos Islands will open the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying First Round Series against Haiti at the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida USA at 19:30 on 18 February 2004. The second-leg is scheduled for three days later (21 February) at the Ted Hendricks Stadium in Hialeah, Florida at 20:00. The winner will advance to the Second Round Series against Jamaica set for June 2004.
